From Thursday's Daily:
   Guy CRISS returned last night from Dallas.
   Elmer MILLER came in last night from Dallas.
   S. C. DICKEY returned this morning from Corsicana.
   W. O. ENGLAND returned from Kemp last night.
   Little Jep LUCAS, who has been quite sick, is
better today.
   Mrs. A. J. WRIGHT  is quite sick with lagrippe.
   Mrs. Evan ENNIS and daughter are on the sick list.
   Tom BAKER returned last night from Jacksonville.
   Rev. M. L. FULLER had returned from a several days
visit to Nacogdoches.
   Willie CHAPMAN nad Constable CARTLIDGE came up from
Malakoff this morning.
   Mr. DRIBBEN, who has been with the Star Store, went
to Dallas this morning.
   Ross T. PHILLIPS, with the Mayfield Co., came in on
the Cotton Belt this morning.
   Mrs. A. C. UPCHURCH of Pittsburg, Texas, who has
been the guest of Mrs. Geo. WOFFORD, returned home
this morning.
   Mrs. F. H. BOSSEE, who has been visiting her
mother, Mrs Mary WILSON, and sister Mrs. Walter SCOTT,
has returned to her home in Brenham.
   Dr. Osborne ROGERS returned to Chattanooga, Tenn.,
today over the Cotton Belt. He has been in Athena 10
or 12 days with his mother, Mrs. Eva ROGERS, who has
been quite sick. He is the youngest member of the
family- the baby- so he stayed close by his mother
till he considered her safely on the road to recovery
and then returned to his home and duties.
   Mrs. W. E. WHITESIDE received a message this
morning announcing the death of her brother, Mr. T. B.
CHANDLER at Oak Cliff. About a week ago Mr. CHANDLER,
who was a member of the Dallas fire department, was
seriously injured while making a run to a fire. When
nearing the Oak Cliff viaduct he steered the engine
into the viaduct rail in order to prevent killing a
lady who was approaching the engine in a buggy. The
engine was turned over pinning him underneath. Mrs.
WHITESIDE is sick, and was unable to attend the
funeral.


From Friday's Daily:
   Lawrence WOOD came in this morning from Corsicana
   Donald MATHEWS came in this morning from Corsicana.
   Jno. W. EASTERWOOD came in this morning on the
Cotton Belt.
   Will FAULK came in this morning from the road camp.
   J. H. TOWERY was down inspecting the oil well at
Muchison today.
   Mrs. Ben RICHARDSON is confined to her bed with
lagrippe.
   Mrs. Nellie GREEN and family have a suite of rooms
at Dr. JOHNSON'S residence on South Main St.
   Mrs. Dentse MOORE, who has been visiting Mrs. C. H.
HART, returned to her home in Terrell this morning.
   Mrs. Maud BROWN was a caller at the Review office
today. She informs us that she has rented her entire
farm, together with all stock, implements, ect., to
Mr. Burton GRIFFIN of Elmo, Kaufman county. Mr.
GRIFFIN will continue the creamery business
established by Mrs. BROWN, which has reach
considerable proportions. Mrs. BROWN will continue to
live on the farm, however, having reserved three rooms
of her commodious house.


From Saturday Daily
   Jack BISHOP went to Corsicana this afternoon.
   Garden Hoes and Rakes now on sale at
Gott-Hawn-Sigler co. 33-35
   M. Kindree MILLER came in last night from Ft.
Worth.
   C. C. HILL came in this morning from Southwest
Texas.
   T. H. BARRON came in this evening from Chandler.
   A. E. AXTELL came in this morning from Austin.
   N. Frank FAULK came in on the Cotton Belt this
morning.
   J. H. RICHARDSON of LaRue, is in the city today.
   Mr. and Mrs. ELLEDGE of Hillboro arrived today to
be the guest of Mr. and Mrs J. L. HARLIN for a few
days.
   Mrs. H. G. CLAY and children have returned from a
week's visit with relatives in Texarkana.
   Miss May DICKENSON went to Frankston this morning
for a visit with her mother and sister.
   A. B. LOVE has torn away his old home on Scott
street and will erect a modern residence on the old
site.
