Baxter, Oct. 9,---Crops are being harvested rapidly here this fine
weather. Farmers are all busy.
Health is very good so far as we can learn.
Mrs. Geo. Forester is better and Mrs. J. T. Wyrich is also better.
Mrs. Mattie Knight is visiting relatives in Athens.
Mrs. Mattie Neely left for her home in Marshall last Friday after an
extended visit with her son, F. L. Neely and other relatives here.
Mr. and Mrs. A. S. Johnson and family who have lived near Lindale
the past year, have moved back to their new home here.
Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Scruggs and children spent the week-end with
Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Robinson of Mabank.
Several from here attended the minstrel show and pie supper at
LaRue last Friday night.
Mrs. L. Cooper and daughter of Athens, spent Monday with Mrs.
J. L. Smith here.
Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Davis spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Frank J.
Davis
of Athens and attended the funeral of Mr. Tansy Stanford.
