Locals
Mrs. R. T. Hill returned to her home at Shamrock Sunday after visiting in the home of her daughters, Mrs. Robert Faulk, for the past two weeks.

Mr. and Mrs. Roy Jackson and daughter, Susan, of Houston spent the week end in Athens with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. L. Carnes, and other relatives.

Mr. and Mrs. Bob Williford of Snyder spent the week end with relatives and friends in Athens.

Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Caldwell of Terrell spent the week end in Athens with friends.
They have just returned from Lubbock where they have been through the cotton season.

Mrs. R. F. Easterwood and Mrs. Alma Bailey of Waco were visitors in Athens Sunday.

Pete Lammons of Jacksonville who underwent an operation a few weeks ago has recovered sufficiently to return to his office.

Mrs. F. E. Reece, had her three sons and their families as recent visitors.
They are Capt. and Mrs. Stanley Reece and two children, of Tinker Field Oklahoma; Capt. and MRs. C. N. Reece and son of Langley Field, Virginia; and Mr. and Mrs. Billy Reece and son of Bristow, Oklahoma.
Capt. C. N. Reece will remain here until Friday, at which time he will return to his base.
His wife and son will stay behind for a longer visit.

J. P. Shull Sr. is reported to be critically ill at his home on Madole Street.
