Family Reunion At Old M. D. L. Price Farm North of Brownsboro
An all-day picnic at the old Price home place, two miles north of Brownsboro, climaxed the sixth family reunion of the M. D. L. Price family on Sunday. Descendants of the late Mr. And Mrs. M. D. L. Price gathered the past week-end at the home of Mrs. L. O. Greene in Tyler to begin the reunion. Mrs. Greene is the oldest daughter of the late couple.
Seven of eight children of the pioneer couple were present for the gathering. One, Mrs. Lizzie Peoples of Brownsboro, was unable to attend because of illness. Those present were Mrs. Will Porter of Brownsboro, Mrs. C. H. Temple of Tyler, Mrs. Greene of Tyler, Bryant Price of Brownsboro, Bud Price of Dawson, Mrs. Frank Cook of Ardmore, Okla., and Mrs. Henry Reagan of Trees, Louisiana.
A picnic luncheon was served at the old home place to 112 relatives and 12 visitors. During the day, sacred harp singing was had, and various games provided entertainment.
The reunion is held the same place every year and another is planned for next year.
