Comments: In 1885, William "Littleton" ADAIR and his father, John C.
ADAIR, were members of Friendship Methodist Church located in New Hope
Community of Brownsboro,Henderson Co.,Texas.
Littleton ADAIR, wife, Roxie E. and children resided in Murchison,
Henderson Co.,Texas.
William "Littleton" ADAIR was Postmaster in Murchison,Henderson Co.,
Texas; June 21, 1918-January 1923.
He also taught school at Flat Creek in  Henderson Co.,Texas. He had two
daughters, Ellen ADAIR HARRIS and Velma Lee ADAIR SMITH who taught school
in Dallas for many years.
