Jackson and his family migrated to Southern Arizona where they
homesteaded outside of Fort Thomas, Arizona. Jackson lost the land during
a series of dry years and sale of water rights. He spent the rest of his
life in Arizona. He worked for the Town of Thatcher Arizona until
Retirement. He and his sons loved fishing along the Gila River and the
San Carlos Apache Reservation. As his grandson I have many memories of
him, my father and myself spending weekends fishing.
