Unused Part Of School Property Deeded By Court
In session here Tuesday the Henderson county commissioners court
conveyed to J. W. Williams
"all right, title and interest" in a tract of land in
the Walnut Creek school district. Under a contract made on March
3rd,1899, Mr. Williams had conveyed the property
to Henderson county "for a period as long as it is used for
school purposes". The acreage not being now used by the
school, the property reverted to the former owner.
W. F. Freeman was county judge of Henderson
County when the land was conveyed to the county by Mr.Willams.
