Willie Jean Rogers 

Services for Willie Jean Rogers, 66, of Corsicana are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Foster & Brown Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bill Honea officiating. 

Burial will be at the Rome Cemetery. 

Mrs. Rogers died Dec. 26, 1998, in Corsicana. 

She was born on Dec. 23, 1932, in Athens to Will and Nonie Meadors Boyd. She was a life long resident of Nararro County. 

Mrs. Rogers was preceded in death by her husband, Sydney Ray Rogers, on Aug. 7, 1996, and a son, Gary Anderson, on June 13, 1989. 

She is survived by six sons and four daughters-in-law, Donnie Rogers of Corsicana, Freddy and Helen Rogers of Waco, Ricky and Wanda Rogers of Corsicana, Ronnie Rogers of Corsicana, James and Carol Rogers of Corsicana and Steve and Debra Rogers of Mabank; 19 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; mother, Nonie Boyd of Athens; two sisters, Wilma Dean Smith of Athens and Nona Faye Kimrey of Murchison; four brothers, Wayne Boyd of Waynesboro, Miss., Butch Boyd of Athens, Kenneth Boyd of Athens and Hodgey Boyd of Athens; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers. 

The family will receive friends between 6-8 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
