Judith Carol 'Judy' Boyd

Services for Judith Carol "Judy" Boyd, 58, of Athens are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, in Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Boyd officiating.

Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery.

Mrs. Boyd died Sept. 23 in a Tyler hospital.

She was born Oct. 30, 1943 in Brighton, Mo., to Lawrence William and Margaret May Cribbs Griffitts and has been a resident of Athens since 1979.

Survivors include her husband of 26 years, Edwin Boyd of Athens; daughter, Niece; sons, David Boyd, Bolivar, Mo., and Danny Boyd of Taylor; brothers, Larry Griffitts, Morrisville, Mo. and Ricky Griffitts, Bolivar, Mo.; sister, Sherryl Ramey, Bolivar, Mo.; five grandchildren and five nephews.

Pallbearers include Greg Griffitts, Chris Hampton, Aaron Ramey, Jeff Griffitts, Mike Hampton and Jessie Griffitts.

The family is receiving friends at the funeral home between 7 and 8 p.m. tonight.
