Athens Weekly Review Thursday September 2, 1943 Funeral For Robert King Held Sunday Funeral services for Robert D. King, 45, Trinidad merchant who died suddenly of a heart attack at his home in Trinidad Friday night about 7 o’clock, were held Sunday afternoon at 4 o’clock at the Trinidad Methodis Church. The services were conducted by the Rev. J. W. Bailey. Interment was in the Mankin cemetery north of Trinidad. Pallbearers were Lawrence Johnston, Paul Lewis, Reuben Hunter, Jack Davis, Garrett Holcomb, Walter Grider, Buster Bunn and Danny Cartwright. Mr. King, a prominent businessman of Trinidad for a number of years, is survived by his wife, a daughter Bobbi Lynette, Trinidad; three brothers, Tom King, Trinidad; Homer King, Levelland; Ben King, Purdon; two sisters, Miss Hallye King, Houston and Mrs. Claudia Seyer, Refugio.
