Rosie Conger

Rosie Conger, 89, of Corsicana died Tuesday, March 9, 2004, at Navarro Regional Hospital. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Griffin-Roughton Chapel with Dr. David Hale officiating. Interment will follow at Mankin Cemetery.

Mrs. Conger was born May 22, 1914, in Henderson County to John and Pearl Ruth Hollifield. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Weldon Conger; son, Allen Ray Conger; parents; brothers, Ansel Hollifield, Bruce Hollifield and J.T. Hollifield; and sisters, Marie Abbott and Bertha Abbott.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Sue Conger; two very special little girls, Sarah and Megan Sullivan; numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home.
