Peggy Joyce Smith Fields, 65, of Trinidad passed away Thursday, Jan. 17, 2002 in Athens. 

Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. today at Corley Funeral Home. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Corley Funeral Home with Rev. John Wakeman officiating. Interment will follow at Mankin Cemetery in Trinidad.

Pallbearers will be Samuel Austin, Robert Faires, Ray Stibbens, Joey Shelton, Sandy Shelton and Michael Jarvis.

Mrs. Fields was born Jan. 10, 1937 in Purdon. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Long, and her parents.

Mrs. Fields is survived by her brother Raymond Smith, daughter Vickie Willard and husband John, grandsons Robert Faires and John Willard, Jr. and granddaughters Amanda Duncan and Ashley Willard, all of Trinidad; daughter Kathy Stibbins and husband Ray and granddaughters Latisha and Laressa Stibbens, all of Malakoff; and granddaughter Lesha Austin and husband Samuel and great-grandson Ethan Austin, all of Eustace.
