Corsicana Daily Sun 6 Dec 2003 Nora King Dillard Nora King Dillard was born in Henderson County on June 10, 1918 to the late Willie and Dora King. She departed this life and went to be with the Lord on Dec. 4, 2003 in Corsicana. She is preceded in death by her husband, Percy Dillard; one son, Kenneth Dillard; her parents; four sisters; and two brothers. She is survived by one daughter, Betty Sanders of Trinidad; daughter-in-law, Mary Dillard of Trinidad; granddaughters, Kimberly Dillard of Trinidad, Angelia Snow and her husband Ronny Snow of Malakoff; and two great-grandsons who brought her so much joy, Hunter and Ethan Snow of Malakoff. Mrs. Dillard was a lifelong resident of Trinidad and was a retired beautician. She was a member of the Malakoff First Assembly of God Church where she attended faithfully until her health would no longer permit. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished her family dearly and took great pride in all their endeavors. She had a lovely smile and exhibited a gentle, yet steady spirit and was well though of and loved by those who knew her. She will be sorely missed. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. today at Malakoff First Assembly of God Church under the direction of Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home of Athens, with the Rev. Gaylord Brown and the Rev. Kenneth Jones officiating. Arrangements by Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home, Athens.
