History of the Cemetery



THE FORD CEMETERY WHICH IS ON LAND WHICH AT ONE TIME WAS THE OLD FORD 
HOMESTED WAS STARTED IN 1888 WITH THE DEATH OF THERESE JANE WILLIAMS 
FORD FIRST WIFE OF CALVIN JACKSON FORD SR.

Directions To

Located on Rural Route 1, North out of Murchison, TX, a few miles north of Kickapoo Creek bridges. A chain-link fence around the entire lot. Kept in FAIR condition.

The Ford Family cemetery is located on the old homeplace of Calvin Jackson & Threse Jane Williams Ford in Henderson Co., Texas, just outside of Murchison. The homeplace is now a part of the Black Beauty Ranch and the cemetery entrance is next to the entrance to the ranch.
