Velo, Joseph

MARSHALL - Services for Joseph Velo, 75, of Marshall, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, 
March 29, 2007, at the Colonial Chapel of Sullivan-Heaster Funeral Home, with 
Father Denzil Vithanage officiating and Ben Grant assisting. Interment will be in 
Algoma Cemetery North. Mr. Velo died March 26, 2007, in Marshall.

Born November 18, 1931, in Havana, Cuba, he was a movie star, longtime professor 
at University of Wisconsin, UT Tyler and Wiley College and a Catholic. Survivors 
include his wife, Edna Sorber; and brother, Raul Caudido Velo y Montalvo. 
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
