Vaughan, John Dean

MARSHALL - Services for Dr. John Dean Vaughan, 72, of Marshall, will be at 2 p.m. Friday, 
August 31, 2007, at First Baptist Church, with Dr. Wallace Watkins officiating. Arrangements 
are by Sullivan-Heaster Funeral Home. Dr. Vaughan died August 28, 2007, in Marshall.

Born September 12, 1934, in Dallas, he was a retired English professor from East Texas Baptist 
University and active member of First Baptist Church, where he served as a Sunday school 
teacher and youth leader. Survivors include his brothers, Tommy Vaughan and Harold Vaughan. 
Visitation will be at the funeral home.
