MARSHALL -- Private memorial services for Colin Joseph "Gypsy" 
Vassal Jr., 59, of Waskom, will be Saturday, January 6, 2007. 
Arrangements are by Downs Funeral Home. Mr. Vassal died January 
2, 2007, in Waskom. Born August 4, 1947, in Hayes, La., he was 
a U.S. Army veteran, having served during the Vietnam War, and 
was a truck driver. Survivors include his son, James Joseph 
Vassal; daughters, Christine Tripp and Bobbie Lynn Townsend; and 
brothers, Robert Vassal, Thomas Vassal, Ray Vassal, Billy Turner,
