Smith, Rev. William E. "Ed"

MARSHALL -- Services for the Rev. William E. "Ed" Smith, 86, 
of Marshall, will be at 3 p.m. Friday, March 9, 2007, at 
Woodlawn Baptist Church in Woodlawn, with the Rev. Craig Evers 
officiating. Interment twill follow in Woodlawn Cemetery of 
Woodlawn. Arrangements are by Sullivan-Heaster Funeral Home. 
The Rev. Smith died March 6, 2007, in Marshall. Born June 4, 
1920, in Hallsville, he owned and operated Marshall Book and 
Bible Corner and served as pastor of several area churches. 
Survivors include his wife, Mary Katherine Shamburger Smith; 
daughter, Susan Alexander; and sister, Lois Murphy. Visitation 
will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, March 8, 2007, at the funeral
