Smith, William C. 

MARSHALL -- Private family memorial services for William C. Smith, 87, of Marshall, 
will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Sullivan-Heaster Funeral Home. Mr. 
Smith died September 20, 2006, in Longview. Born January 27, 1919, in Ithica, N.Y., 
he was a U.S. Air Force veteran, having served during World War II, and longtime owner 
of a manufacturing business. Survivors include his son, Scott Smith; and daughter, 
Jane M. Smith. Visitation will be 2-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
