Simmons, Bertha Marie Johnson

MARSHALL -- Services for Bertha Marie Johnson Simmons, 84, of 
Greenville, will be 1 p.m. Saturday, June 24, 2006, at Cross 
Road Baptist Church in DeBerry, with the Rev. Alfred Hicks 
officiating. Burial will follow in Cross Road Cemetery. 
Arrangements are by Lewis Funeral Home. Mrs. Simmons died 
June 21, 2006, in Greenville. She was born March 15, 1922, in
Marshall. Survivors include her son, Rickey Simmons; daughter, 
Mechelle Alexander; brothers, Lacy Kirk Johnson and Lamar 
Johnson; and sisters, Dorothy Daniels and Faye Lois Smith. 
Visitation will be 6-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
