Rodes Jr., Thomas L. "Tom"

MARSHALL -- Memorial services for Thomas L. "Tom" Rodes 
Jr. will be 1 p.m. Saturday, January 6, 2007, at Cypress 
Valley Bible Church, with Ted Johnson, Bob Bryant, and 
Brother Leland Crawford officiating. Arrangements are by 
Downs Funeral Home. Mr. Rodes died January 3, 2007, in 
Tyler. Born December 29, 1930, in Shreveport, La., he was 
a U.S. Air Force veteran, having served during the Korean 
War, longtime store manager, and active member of Cypress 
Valley Bible Church. Survivors include his wife, Fern 
Robertson Rodes; son, Tom Rodes III; and daughters, Martha 
Dean Hoelscher and Elizabeth Johnson. Visitation will be 
Saturday, immediately following services, at the church.
