Reid, James "Bud" 

MARSHALL -- Services for James "Bud" Reid, 85, of Tyler, will be 
2 p.m. Tuesday, April 11, 2006, at Morton Baptist Church with the 
Rev. Mike Brittain officiating. Interment will follow in Eagle 
Creek Cemetery. Arrangements are by Downs Funeral Home, 4608 
Elysian Fields Road. Mr. Reid died April 7, 2006. Born March 23, 
1921, in Wood County, he retired as a mechanic for Gregg County, 
Precinct No. 1, in 1982, was a longtime resident of the Morton 
community of Harrison County and a member and a deacon of Morton 
Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Nadine Copeland Reid. 
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday, April 10, 2006, at the funeral
