Reed, Lelia Mae Phillips 

MARSHALL -- Services for Lelia Mae Phillips Reed, 83, 
of Marshall, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 22, 2006, 
at Downs Funeral Home Chapel, 4608 Elysian Fields Road, 
with Brother Gilbert Walker officiating. Interment will 
follow in St. John Church Cemetery on Blocker Road. Mrs. 
Reed died March 17, 2006, at a Longview hospital. Born 
July 2, 1922, in Elysian Fields, she was a seamstress, a 
homemaker and an active member of the Marshall East 
Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Survivors include 
her sons, Robert Jr. and Donald Reed; daughters, Jo Ann 
Forks and Lizzie Benjamin; and sisters, Sarah Williams, 
Nell Jones and Juanita Tumey. The body may be viewed 10 
a.m.-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 21, 2006, at the funeral home.
