Redmon, J.C. "Jake"

MARSHALL - Services for J.C. "Jake" Redmon, 83, of Marshall, will be at 2 p.m. 
Sunday, June 17, 2007, at Friendship Baptist Church, with the Rev. Mike Midkiff 
and the Rev. Don Crumb officiating. Interment will follow in Gill Cemetery. 
Arrangements are by Downs Funeral Home. Mr. Redmon died June 13, 2007, in 
Shreveport, La.

Born February 20, 1924, he was a longtime mechanical engineer for Lewis 
Engineering and member and deacon of Friendship Baptist Church. Survivors 
include his wife, Hazel Redmon; daughters, Brenda Gail Smith and Theresa Faye 
Gillinger; and brother, Darwin Redmon. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. 
Saturday, June 16, 2007, at the funeral home.
