Phillips, Alonzo

MARSHALL - Services for Alonzo Phillips, 83, of Marshall, will be at 11 a.m. 
Saturday, June 16, 2007, at Marshall Full Gospel of Holy Temple Church, with 
Dr. Larry B. Kiel Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery. 
Arrangements are by Downs Funeral Home. Mr. Phillips died June 10, 2007, in 
Marshall.

Born February 26, 1924, in San Augustine, he was a self-employed log hauler 
and member of Marshall Full Gospel Holy Church. Survivors include his wife, 
Gertha Stafford Phillips; and children, Betty Lamb, Leroy Phillips, Alonzo 
Phillips Jr., Lonnie L. Phillips, Cecil G. Phillips, Alton Charles Phillips, 
Alice G. Phillips, Thessalonia Phillips, Herbert R. Phillips, Lorenza Phillips, 
Valarie Phillips, Erma M. Renolds, David Phillips and Cynthia M. Renolds. 
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
