Palmucci, Joseph Frank "Papa" Joseph Frank "Papa" Palmucci, 66, of Hallsville, has gone home to be with our Lord on February 19, 2007, after courageously fighting a difficult battle with cancer. He was born January 7, 1947, in Newark, N.J. Joseph made Texas his home in 1977, where he retired as general manager of ExelLogistics of Longview in 2004. Joseph was also a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, where he offered his ministry through the gift of music. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and many friends. Survivors include Joseph's beloved wife of 48 years, Diane Elizabeth "MiMi;" four daughters, JoAnn Lee Siebert, Elizabeth Diane Palmucci, Sheri Ann Palmucci and Tracey Ann Thompson; two sisters, Rosemary Curtis and Lillian Lacara; one brother, Nicolas Pa1mucci; nine beautiful grandchildren; and one precious great-grandchild. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, February 23, 2007, in the chapel of Lakeview Funeral Home, with Monsignor Xavier Pappu officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Park Cemetery.
