Neel, James "Bulldog"

MARSHALL - Services for James "Bulldog" Neel, 72, of Marshall, will be at 
10 a.m. today, April 25, 2007, at Downs Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother 
Ron Segers and Dr. Paul Vickers officiating. Burial will follow in 
Colonial Gardens Cemetery. Mr. Neel died April 22, 2007, at his residence.

Born July 28, 1934, in Tenaha, he helped organize Marshall's Dixie Baseball 
League, and was a Texaco retiree and charter member of Victory Baptist 
Church. Survivors include his wife, June Evers Neel; daughters, Debbie York 
and Dianne Welch; sons, Jerry Neel, Danny Neel, Pat Neel and Mark Neel; 
brother, Harry Neel; and sister, Barbara Smith.
