Mosier, Vertie Ferrell
 
Funeral services for Vertie Ferrell Mosier, 64, of Hallsville, 
will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, March 23, 2006, in the chapel of 
Rader Funeral Home, with the Reverend Ottis Jarrell officiating. 
Burial will be in Noonday Cemetery. She passed away Sunday, March 
19, 2006, in Longview. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday 
evening, March 22, 2006, at the funeral home. Mrs. Mosier was born 
June 1, 1941, in Wilmont, Arkansas, to James and Viola Ferrell, 
and had been a resident of Hallsville since 1970. She was a 
longtime resident of the Longview area and was a former mail 
carrier for the Hallsville Post Office. She was a member of the 
Pine Forest Baptist Church. Those left to cherish her memory are 
her sons and daughters-in-law, Alvin Don and Nancy Mosier of 
Virginia, Jerry and Janet Mosier of Texarkana, Michael and Kristy 
Mosier of Longview, and Kevin Mosier of San Marcos; brothers, B.C. 
Ferrell of Chalk Hill, and H.E. Ferrell of Tyler; sisters, Elizabeth 
Williams of Bastrop, La., and Polly Bogardus of Gilmer; eight 
grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A memorial guestbook
