McDowell, Maggie Ruell

MARSHALL -- Graveside services for Maggie Ruell McDowell, 79, 
of Harleton, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 19, 2006, at 
Mount Zion Cemetery in the Lodi community, with Bro. Craig 
Evers officiating. Arrangements are by Meadowbrook Funeral 
Home. Mrs. McDowell died December 10, 2006, in Minden, La. 
Born January 7, 1927, in Jefferson, she had lived in Harleton 
since 1977. Survivors include her daughters, Juanice 
McDowell-Tavel and Toni McDowell-Dowden; son, Edward J. McDowell 
Jr.; sister, Charlene Shadix; and brother, Sonny Carter. 
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today, December 18, 2006, at the 
funeral home.
