Harris, Wanda Lynne

Wanda Lynne Harris, 51, of Hallsville, slipped peacefully into eternal life 
after a courageous battle with cancer on Wednesday, June 27, 2007.

Born November 26, 1955, in Boise, Idaho, Lynne grew into an independent 
strong woman whose intelligence was matched only by her kindness and generosity.

Lynne was a nurse by profession for more than 25 years and dedicated her life 
to being a caregiver to anyone in need. A loving, nurturing mother of two 
daughters, Lynne also welcomed an array of animals large and small into her 
heart. Her death will be mourned by all who knew her.

Lynne is survived by her daughter, Melissa Harris; daughter and son-in-law, 
Jolene and Jacob Dorris, and their child, her only grandson, William Lincoln. 
She is also survived by her beloved sister, Shirley Hernandez of Bonita Springs, 
Florida.

The family wishes to express their gratitude and heartfelt appreciation to 
Select Specialty Hospital, Longview Cancer Center and Heart'sWay Hospice for 
everything they have done.

The family will celebrate her life by receiving friends at a later date.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of East Texas Funeral Home in 
Longview.
