Graves, Dr. Johnson Pace

MARSHALL - Services for Dr. Johnson Pace Graves, 84, of Marshall, will be at 10:30 a.m.
Saturday, September 29, 2007, at Little Chapel by the Lake in Colonial Gardens Cemetery. 
Burial will follow. Arrangements are by Downs Funeral Home. Dr. Graves died September 27, 
2007.

Born April 24, 1923, in Burkburnett, he served in the U.S. Navy Reserves during World War 
II and the U.S. Air Force Reserves during the Korean Conflict. He was chief of surgery 
and chief of staff for Marshall Memorial Hospital, a 32nd Degree Mason and member of First 
United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Bettye Don Bartlett Graves; daughters, 
Johnnie L. Diem, Larin D. Graves and Cecilia Pace Harris; and sons, Bartlett E. Graves, 
Reed H. Graves and Gideon Johnson Graves.
