Gathings, Bascam Wall "B.W."

MARSHALL -- Services for Bascam Wall "B.W." Gathings, 87, 
of Marshall, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 2, 2007, at 
the Colonial Chapel of Sullivan-Heaster Funeral Home with 
the Rev. Michael Richard officiating. Interment will be in 
Colonial Gardens Cemetery. Mr. Gathings died December 28, 
2006, in Marshall. Born October 19, 1919, in Covington, he 
served in the U.S. Army during World War II, retired from 
the Internal Revenue Service after 26 years of service, and 
was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Marshall. 
Survivors include his daughter, Betty Gildon. Visitation 
will be 6-8 p.m. Monday, January 1, 2007, at the funeral
