Gabler, Norma Elizabeth

Funeral services for Norma Elizabeth Gabler, 84, of Longview, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, 
July 28, 2007, at Rader Funeral Home of Longview, 1617 Judson Road, with Dr. Gregg Zackary 
officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Park Cemetery, under the direction of Rader 
Funeral Home of Longview.

Mrs. Gabler died Sunday morning, July 22, 2007, in Phoenix, Ariz.

Norma was born June 16, 1923, in Garrett, to Monroe and Mary Rhodes. She was co-founder with 
her husband of 62 years, "Mel," of Educational Research Analyst, a non-profit organization. 
Norma was a member of the Mobberly Baptist Church.

Mrs. Gabler was preceded in death by "Mel"; a son, Don Allen Gabler; a brother, Monroe 
"Dusty" Rhodes; and a sister, LaRue Carter.

She is survived by her sons, James M. Gabler of Phoenix, Ariz., and Paul R. Gabler of 
Houston. She is also survived by a brother, Jack Rhodes of Longview; six grandchildren; and 
one great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday evening, July 27, 2007, at the funeral 
home.
