Services for Clyde Andrew Finney, 70, of Marshall, will be held at 6 p.m. Monday in the 
Chapel of Morgan Funeral Home. The Rev. Ron Segers will officiate. Private interment 
will be Tuesday in the National Cemetery in Dallas.

Mr. Finney died at 2:50 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 21, 2003, at Good Shepherd Medical Center 
in Longview.

He was born April 13, 1933 in Cedar Falls, Iowa. He married on August 29, 1975 in 
Shreveport, Louisiana. He was the former owner of Clyde's Lock Shop in Marshall and had 
served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He was also a member of the American 
Legion and a former member of the Masonic Lodge.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earnest (Fig) Newton and Helen Newton, and a 
daughter, Debra Finney.

August 25, in the Chapel of Morgan Funeral Home. Private family interment will be 
held Tuesday in Dallas.

Mr. Finney died Thursday in a Longview hospital.
