Fields, Elsie 

MARSHALL -- Services for Elsie Fields, 93, of Marshall, 
will be 11 a.m. Saturday, August 26, 2006, at New Bethel 
Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery. 
Arrangements are by Lewis Funeral Home. Mrs. Fields died 
August 21, 2006, in Carthage. She was born December 22, 
1912, in Marshall. Survivors include her sons, Velvin 
Fields, Clifford Fields, and Edward Fields; and daughters, 
Virtle Hadley, Mildred Hadley, Merridene Fields, Doris 
Smith, and Barbara Brown. Visitation will be 7-8 p.m. 
Friday, August 25, 2006.
