Dodson, Saletta Elizabeth   	

Graveside services for Saletta Elizabeth Dodson, 78, of Longview, will be at 10 a.m. 
Wednesday, August 1, 2007, at Memory Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Dodson passed away on Monday, July 31, 2007, after a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Dodson was born July 24, 1929, in Walkers Creek, Arkansas, to Floyd and Penny 
Blake Smeltzer. She married George Dodson on February 22, 1945, in Longview. She was 
a beautician.

Preceding her in death were her husband, George, in 1993; her son-in-law and grandson, 
Bill and Thomas Rogers; her brother, Eddie Smeltzer; and her sister, Lacia Garner.

Survivors include her daughters, Ada Rogers and Norma Dodson, both of Longview, and 
Patricia Douty and husband, Michael of Arlington; son, Paul Dodson of Fort Worth; sister, 
Cherry Grigsby of Longview; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, 
Marie Smeltzer of Longview; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and special friend, 
Lavelle Schmitton of Longview.

daughters, Ada Rogers, Norma Dodson and Patricia Douty; son, Paul Dodson; and sister, 
Cherry Grigsby.
