Deaton, John Charles 

MARSHALL -- Memorial services for John Charles Deaton, 50, of Hallsville, will be 2 p.m. Sunday, 
July 23, 2006, at Mulberry Springs Baptist Church. Arrangements are by Downs Funeral Home. Mr. 
Deaton died July 19, 2006, in Longview. Born August 22, 1955, in Houston, he was a heavy 
equipment mechanic. Survivors include his wife, Mary Sue Strong Deaton; son, John Lucas Deaton; 
daughter, Sarah Collette Deaton; and sisters, Dolores Holliday Woody, Joyce Gilley, and Bonnie
