Cox, Lacresia Kaye   
	
Lacresia Kaye Cox, 61, of Hallsville, passed away February 
22, 2007, at a Dallas hospital. She was born March 8, 1945, 
in Littlefield, to Hollis and Bertha Smith Wright. She 
worked for SWEPCO for more than 27.5 years and enjoyed 
spending time with her grandkids, shopping and antiquing. 
She was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Cox was preceded in death 
by both her parents. She is survived by her husband of 25 
years, Jerry Cox of Hallsville; children; Debbie Plaschke 
and her husband, Randy, of Hallsville, Jimmy Shepherd and 
his wife, Cheryl, of Harleton and Shelly Butler and her 
husband, Jason; and grandchildren, Brandon Plaschke, Kayleigh 
Plaschke, Chelsea Shepherd, Zachary Shepherd, Lindsey Butler 
and Morgan Butler. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, 
February 24, 2007, in the chapel of Lakeview Funeral Home, 
with the Rev. Jerrell Ottis officiating. Entombment will 
follow in the Lakeview Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Memorial

6-8 p.m. this evening, February 23, 2007, at the funeral home.
