Brooks Sr., Reece N.

MARSHALL -- Services for Reece N. Brooks Sr., 79, of Marshall, 
will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 27, 2007, at the chapel of 
Downs Funeral Home with Bro. Ron Segers officiating. Interment 
will follow in Rehobeth Cemetery in Carthage. Mr. Brooks died 
February 24, 2007, at a Marshall hospital. Born November 13, 
1927, in Marshall, he retired after 26-1/2 years of service 
with Texaco and after 15 years from B J Services in 1994, and 
he was a member of Victory Baptist Church. Survivors include 
his wife, Eva Nell "Tissie" Brooks; son, Reece Brooks II; and 
daughter, Lucille Brooks Lynch. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. 
today, February 26, 2007, at the funeral home. Online
