Amidon, Era J.

MARSHALL - Services for Era J. Amidon, 83, of Marshall, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 7, 
2007, at the chapel of Downs Funeral Home with the Rev. William "Rusty" Rustenhaven and Dr. 
William "Bill" Rustenhaven officiating. Interment will be in Colonial Gardens Cemetery. Mrs. 
Amidon died August 4, 2007, at a Marshall nursing facility.

Born November 26, 1923, in Beckville, she was employed by Sears for 34 years and a lifelong 
member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Survivors include her husband, Robert Amidon; 
daughter, Grace Ann Amidon Lemanski; and sister, Vera Heflin. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. 
today, August 6, 2007, at the funeral home.
