Allen, Everett Curtis

Graveside services for Everett Curtis Allen, 93, of Longview, will be 
10 a.m. Monday, June 11, 2007, at Memory Park Cemetery, with Rodney 
Cox officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Park Cemetery under the 
direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mr. Allen passed away 
Thursday June 7, 2007, in Longview.

Mr. Allen was born February 4, 1914, in Evelyn, Louisiana, to John 
Curtis and Betty Butler Allen. He retired from Lone Star Steel Company 
after 23 years of service.

He is survived by his daughter, Joyce Allen McLelland and husband, Dr. 
Claude McLelland of Corpus Christi, Texas; two granddaughters, Jaye 
Hellums of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Tracy Gourley of Houston, Texas; 
four great-grandchildren, Emily Hellums, Allen Hellums, Drew Gourley 
and Coke Gourley; brother, Stanley Allen of Stephens City, Virginia; 
and sister, Marjorie O'Neil of St. Louis, Missouri.
