Jack "Alan" Alford

  Jack "Alan" Alford, 66, a long-time resident of Baytown, TX, passed June 23, 2022, at home with family by his side. He was born in Beaumont Texas on October 27, 1955 to Jack DeLaye and Julia Kathryn Alford.
  Alan graduated from South Park High School with honors and completed two years of college at Lamar University. He worked for various companies in the chemical/oil industry. Alan loved watching golf, baseball, and comedy, he was quick-witted and highly skilled in mathematics. He was a very devoted family man with strong work ethics, thoroughly enjoyed his wife's cooking and loved his desserts.
  He was preceded in death by Jack DeLaye Alford, Julia Kathryn Alford, and Mary Ellen Martin.
  Alan is survived by his wife of 41 years, Carol; his son Kevin Alford of Baytown, his daughter Danielle Alford of Baytown, his daughter Stephanie Younce of Elkhart, IN; and one granddaughter, Skylar "Sky" of Elkhard, IN.
  The family would like to give a special thanks to Faith Community Hospice and staff, Sharon, Tammy, and Tammy, for all their help, care and support.
  Visitation will be held from 9:30 - 10:30 am, Friday, July 1, 2022, at Navarre Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 2444 Rollingbrook Dr., Baytown, TX 77521. Funeral service will begin at 10:30 am. Interment will follow at Earthman Memory Gardens Cemetery, Baytown, TX.
  Honored to serve as pallbearers: Sam King, Eddie Erickson, Steve Northcut, Tre Dickerson, Cody Gates, and Kevin Alford. Honorary pallbearers: Aaron Linstrom, Ken Niles, David Winfrey, John Cumbus, and BV Carlisle.
