Vickery, Callie Virginia Services for Callie Virginia Vickery, 76, of Longview, will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 22, 2006, at Welch Funeral Home Chapel at 4619 Judson Road, with the Rev. Steve Cochran officiating. Mrs. Vickery died December 19, 2006. Born April 3, 1930, in Live Oak, Fla., she was was a seamstress at One of a Kind Manufacturing and devoted to her Lord. Survivors include her sons, Harold Vickery, Charles Vickery, and Michael Vickery; daughters, Barbara Kaufman, Sandra Durham, and Karen Howard; sisters, Jo Gully, Mary Nell Marshburn, and Ethel Richardson; and brothers, Finous Fincher and Samuel Fincher. Mrs. Vickery was loved deeply by her family and friends and will be greatly missed. Mrs. Vickery was devoted to her Savior and Lord and is now enjoying His presence. She was a seamstress at One of a Kind Manufacturing. Mrs. Vickery was preceded in death by her loving husband, Johnnie Vickery; father, Finous Fincher; her precious mother, Hester Fincher; brother, Clarence Fincher; and sister, Grace Gibson. Mrs. Vickery is survived by three sons, Harold Vickery and wife, Gay of Hallsville, Charles Vickery, and Michael Vickery and wife, Vicki of Longview; three daughters, Barbara Kaufman and husband, Kenneth of Tacoma, Washington, Sandra Durham and husband, Gene, and Karen Howard and husband, Travis of Longview; three sisters, Jo Gully of Carthage, Missouri, Mary Nell Marshburn of Longview, and Ethel Richardson and husband, Jack of Liberty City; two brothers, Finous Fincher and Samuel Fincher of Longview; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given in the name of our precious mother to Macedonia Baptist Church Building Fund, 4656 Page Rd., Longview, TX 75605.
