Vestal, Ruby "Smith"   	

Ruby "Smith" Vestal, 92, of Kilgore, passed away Monday, August 20, 2007, at a local 
hospital.

Ruby was born January 4, 1915, in Longview, to Adam and Ollie Davis Smith. Ruby 
worked for Southwestern Bell and after retirement, she was active with the AT&T 
Pioneer Volunteers. She was a member of Liberty City Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband.

She is survived by her daughter, Margie F. Williams and her husband, John; 
granddaughters, Sandra D. Liska and her husband, Don, Judy G. Futch and her husband, 
Raymond, and Kathy S. Krewson; grandsons, John M. Williams, David H. Williams, James 
W. Williams and his wife, Debbie, and John Vestal and his wife, Stephanie; sister, 
Allyene Russell and her husband, J.T.; numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-
grandchildren and great-great-great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 22, 2007, at Lakeview Funeral 
Home Chapel, with the Rev. Troy Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview 
Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to AT&T Pioneers Volunteers, 308 S. 
Akard St., Room 1015, Dallas, TX 75202.

The family will receive friends and family for visitation from 6-8 p.m. this evening, 
August 21, 2007.
