Vasquez, Maria Isabel    

Services for Maria Isabel Vasquez, 77, of Longview, will be 2 p.m. Saturday, January 
28, 2006, at Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall, Jenny Street at Leland. Arrangements are 
by Welch Funeral Home, 4619 Judson Road. Mrs. Vasquez died Wednesday in Irving. Born 
in Belize, she was a homemaker and Longview resident for one year. Survivors include 
her children, Estela Vernon, Sandra Brown, Ruth Miller, Nida Muir, Gus Mendez, George 
Mendez, Darline Moreno, Carlos Mendez, and Joe Mendez; and brother, Victor Contres. 
Visitation will be 6 p.m. today at the funeral home. An online registry may be
