Services for Dorothea Sumrow, 80, of White Oak, will be 10:30 Wednesday, 
December 19, 2007, at Welch Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Michael 
Heim officiating. Mrs. Sumrow died Saturday, December 15, 2007, at her 
residence.

She was born June 9, 1927, in Waskom, Texas, to John and Pearl Mae Hicks. 
Mrs. Sumrow she was retired from the American Heart Association. She was 
a longtime area resident, member of White Oak Baptist Church, a White Oak 
School graduate and an avid reader.

Her survivors are her sons and daughters-in-law, Bob and Sandra McDaniel 
of Flint and Mike and Donna Sumrow of White Oak; grandchildren, John, 
Jerry, Jeff, Lee, Jerrida, Mary, Devina and Dalton; 16 great-grandchildren; 
numerous nieces and nephews; and friend, Rex Price.

The family will receive friends 6:30 p.m. today, December 18, 2007, at the 
funeral home.
