Smith, David Edward

Services for David Edward Smith, 32, of Longview, will be at noon 
Saturday, May 12, 2007, at Rader Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. 
Marion Coon officiating. Burial will follow in Rosewood Park.

David died Thursday morning, May 10, 2007, at a Longview hospital.

He was born December 28, 1974, in Farmville, Virginia, and he had 
resided in Longview for seven years. David was a corrections officer 
for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice and a member of the 
Baptist faith.

He is survived by his wife, Celita of Longview; his daughters, Alexis 
and Trinity; a brother, Frank Smith of Southhill, Virginia; parents, 
Stanley and Sandra Piwtoratsky of Blackstone, Virginia; grandmother, 
Jean Hunte of Blackstone, Virginia; three nieces; and two nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. this evening, May 11, 
2007, at Rader Funeral Home.
