Services for Travis Gene Smith, 54, of Longview, will be 11 
a.m. Friday, December 8, 2006, at Greggton First Baptist 
Church, with the Rev. Bobby E. Moore officiating. Burial will 
follow in Grace Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are by Welch 
Funeral Home. Mr. Smith died December 4, 2006, at a local 
medical center. Born April 12, 1952, in Longview, he was a 
member of Greggton First Baptist Church. Survivors include his 
daughter, Melanie Alvis; son, Travis A. Smith; father, Dan Smith; 
brothers, Dan Michael and Carlos Smith; and sisters, Georgia 
Smith and Vickey Wilson. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday,
