Memorial services for Michael Alan Smith, 51, of Longview, 
will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, February 8, 2007, at Welch 
Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Tony Pierce officiating. 
Mr. Smith died February 4, 2007, at his residence. Born 
March 26, 1955, in Alexandria, Va., he was a Dallas Cowboys 
fan, enjoyed gardening, drag racing and computers and was a 
Baptist. Survivors include his daughters, Allison Smith and 
Jocelyn Gilliam; brother, Richard Smith; and sister, Barbara 
Harris. Visitation will immediately follow services. An online
