Shores, C.D.

KILGORE -- Services for C.D. Shores, 93, of Kilgore, 
will be 4 p.m., Monday, January 8, 2007, at Rader 
Funeral Home Chapel of Kilgore, with the Rev. David 
Hampton officiating. Burial will follow in Kilgore 
Cemetery. Mr. Shores died January 5, 2007, in Kilgore. 
Born January 4, 1914, in St. Joseph, Mo., he served in 
the U.S. Army during World War II, was a retired caster 
for Kilgore Ceramics and a longtime member of First 
Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Evelyn 
Shores; daughters, Charlotte Honea and Frances Daily; 
son, Perry Combest; and sister, Pearl Murphy. Visitation 
will be 2-4 p.m. today, January 7, 2007, at the funeral
